Bentley Continental Flying Spur (2013) new teaser video

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Bentley is almost ready to pull the wraps off its new four-door Continental: the 2013 Flying Spur. Today, Bentley has released a new teaser video to go with yesterday's silhouette sketch, and we've also got the latest spy shots of the Flying Spur testing in Spain. Bentley's 2013 Continental Flying Spur With Bentley set to make a further announcement on 20 February, we're expecting to see the Flying Spur make its debut at the 2013 Geneva motor show in March. Powertrains will be shared with the Continental GT coupe: that means a 6.0-litre bi-turbo W12 in the flagship car, and for the first time in a Flying Spur, Bentley's new 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8.

Pagani Zonda Revolucion (2013) first pictures of ultimate 790bhp Zonda

Tue, 04 Jun 2013

Is the new Pagani Zonda Revolucion the Nurburgring lap-record holder in waiting? The Zonda Revolucion (Revolution in Spanish) is a fettled version of the track-only Zonda R, boasting more power and F1-derived brake and aerodynamic know-how. It should easily be able to eclipse the Zonda R's record-breaking 6min 47sec Nürburgring lap time, but you’ll need fast money, too. Available to order now, the five Revolucions being produced will set you back an eye-watering €2.2m (£1.8m) each – plus taxes – and you still can't drive it on the road… For £1.8million, the Pagani Zonda Revolucion had better be packing some serious punch… Worry not: the mid-mounted 6.0-litre AMG V12 (normally aspirated still, rather than twin-turbocharged like the new Pagani Huayra in CAR's video review below) develops 789bhp – a 50bhp increase on the 2009 Zonda R's output.

Audi RS6 Avant (2012) first pictures of new super-wagon

Tue, 04 Dec 2012

In the battle of super-estate Top Trumps, Audi has just nicked the goalposts – in a suitably commodious family wagon. Despite boasting two fewer cylinders and 1200cc less than the old V10 RS6, the new RS6 Avant is even faster over the 0-62mph sprint, and will top out at over 190mph. Wow!
